2025 The effect of touch

Using pH sensitive eco dye I created this dress to part of a project exploring ways to incorporate audience participation in the creation of costumes. By applying two different solutions participants were able to watch the dress react to their additions in real time.

2024 Truth and Other Things: a Journey Through Alithea

Working alongside other students on the production of an original script, I was the costume designer for Truth & Other Things: A Journey Through Alithea. A mixture of a both fantasy and reality, the show focused on what it means to be human. Full of whismy and joy the costumes helped to establish our world.

As costume designer I oversaw the build of all costumes, but I was also a member of the wardrobe crew. I built the first costume and assisted with the build of the second by drafting and cutting the pattern.

2024 millinery

Experimenting with the world of millinery I made a costum hat form and blocked these hats from a felt hood. The florals were made with a combination of wet and needling felting.

2023 All That Makes Us

With a total of twenty-eight costumes All that Makes Us was my first experience working as costume designer.

Costume design for les aveugles

Below is a series of proposed costume designs for Les Aveugles by Maurice Maeterlinck. Les Aveugles tells the story of a group of blind asylum patients who are left abandoned in the woods after the priest who was guiding them suddenly disappears. Inspired by the idea that many of us are ‘blind’ to the current climate crisis, I chose to set my interpretation of the play in a possible future, where society has collapsed due to extreme pollution.

2023 Foster Festival Wardrobe Coordinator

From May to August of 2023 I worked as the Wardrobe Coordinator for The Foster Festival on their productions of Outlaw and Jenny’s House of Joy. In this role I aided the Costume Designer through research, organization, and construction. Below are a number of costume pieces that I helped alter and build.
